Dr. Jeffrey C. Covault, D.C.
Dr. Covault is a 2010 graduate of New York Chiropractic College located in the finger lakes region of upstate New York. Before matriculating into NYCC, Dr. Covault earned his Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University with a focus in Community Nutrition as well as Exercise Science. Originally born in Detroit, Dr. Covault spent most of his childhood in the river city of Marietta, Ohio.
While attending The Ohio State University and working on his Medical School pre-requisite courses, Dr. Covault decided that instead of pursing his Medical Degree he wanted to take a more proactive route into health care. It was at this time where he began studying Human Nutrition and Exercise Science and was accepted into the Doctor of Chiropractic program at New York Chiropractic College.
With his back ground of Nutrition and Exercise paired with his education and training from New York Chiropractic College, Dr. Covault focuses delivering his patients not only with Chiropractic but also total body health and wellness. Dr. Covault believes that nutrition, exercise and Chiropractic is a three fold route to help patients maximize living.
When not in the Columbus West office you can find Dr. Covault in Circleville Ohio treating patients along side his wife Dr. Katherine Covault (Farrell), who is also a Chiropractic Physician, at Family Chiropractic of Circleville.
In his free time Dr. Covault enjoys racquetball, going to the gym as well as vacationing at his family cabin in northern Michigan with his wife and two golden retrievers Ellie and Harry. Currently he resides in German village.
G. Mike Brown, M.S. P.T.
Mike received a Bachlor of Science Degree from Ohio University and a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Wheeling Jesuit University in 1995. He has practiced in a variety of rehabilitation and acute care settings. His specialized training includes emphasis on vestibular rehabilitation and gait training. Mike has been a great asset to the team as he works with not only outside referral physical therapy patients, but chiropractic and joint program patients as well.
Nicole Wingrove, P.T.A.
Physical Therapy Assistant
Nicole has been apart of our team since September 2013. She obtained her Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapy from Clark State Community College in Springfield, Ohio prior to joining our office. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer in her off hours. Using all of her education she can help speed the recovery of an acute patient and also show that patient how to prevent future occurance and promote overal musculoskeletal health. Since starting here she has really enjoyed the opportunity of working one on one with our patients as well as staff. When she is not in the office she enjoys spending her time her Fiance and son who keeps her busy with all of his sporting activities.
LIndsey Perry, LMT
Lindsey obtained her Massage License in 2013 and joined our team shortly after. Her love of helping people is what first sparked her interest for massage therapy. She uses a variety of techniques, with a focus on trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage. When not in the office she enjoys spending time at her home in Heath with her huband, Ben, and two dogs Tyson and Jax.
Patient Care Coordinator
Renee joined our team in August of 2015, as our front desk receptionist/patient care coordinator. Renee obtained her Medical Assisting diploma in 2005 from Bryman Institute. Since then she has worked in family pracitice until 2013. She can handle everything from phone calls to dealing with insurance companies. When not in our office Renee is handling her two boys, who are very active in sports, and relaxing at her home in Galloway. Other than going to the gym most of her free time is spent supporting her sons at practices and games.
Mandy first joined our team in the fall of 2011. She walked into our Circleville office and told Dr. Covault that he should hire her, so he did. She evolved from running our front desk to a complete office manager handling all our of backend workload. When Dr. Covault purchased Columbus Chiropractic she then began splitting her time between Circleville and Columbus. She can be found in our Columbus office on Tuesday and Thursdays. Today she focuses on our billing and insurance paperwork while making sure everyone is performing their job duties, mostly keeping Dr. Covault focused on notes. When not working she is herding her five children and husband coordinating multiple sporting events for each child.
